Happy Birthday Shinjiro!

Aww man!
I wanted to get this up on Friday, but then it was Black Friday so I didn't sleep(since Thursday) then I passed out and woke up on Saturday. Right after waking up since I slept through all of Friday, I couldn't work on this because I had to go to a friend's birthday party.

Well HAHA! My animation is now evolving.
I now have the patience to sketch each movement. OMG Nissy is walking!!! He's really walking!!! I am so happy! Yeah no, I did a good job on this one. Naoya will never give up, where ever there's cake, he'll be there. Hahahahaha! This is so cute!

I wanted to get this in sooner, but I couldn't.
I love the revised Shuta, he's so cute!!!
Nissy was not able to avoid the ear-pulling vice-grip of doom. Shuta's painful signature.

But yeah, Shuta had lost the curls and dyed his hair back to brown. I think compared to everyone else, Shuta has the most changes, second to that is Hidaka, then Chiaki... Nishijima is the one with the least amount of changes.

I'm missing the fluffy curls already.

I got to see everyone's new look, looking good! I noticed that Shuta is not heavily gelled or permed. Out of randomness I decided to "revise" Shuta (again).

Happy Birthday Naoya!

I actually almost forgot his birthday was today (yesterday).
My friend Izzy laughed at me and said, "you're a AAA fan, how could YOU forget?"

This is another partly animated comic.
I thought about "Chocolate Factory," and Naoya was one of the misbehaving children. I wanted to make him fat from the cake but cartoon characters never get fat... Going to a cake factory for Naoya's birthday is a dream come true for in-story Naoya. Although, it's more of a baked goods factory. Naoya is just awesome!

Did Shuta just notice now that most of AAA's outfits are nearly as crazy as Johnny's artists? Well... Johnnys are on a different level of insanity of their own. AAA on the other hand gets to wear exclusive designer costumes. Almost all of them look amazing and a few take a turn for the bizarre. I just love looking at all the crazy outfits they wear for performances and photo shoots.

It's a puzzle box joke, it brings back memories of first encounter experiences.

Okay... Naoya will know to never ask Misako for a favor ever again.
Frustration and laziness can lead to very interesting things. Let's hope Misako can avoid getting in trouble with Max for destroying his puzzle box which was entrusted to Naoya.

I would totally cry if someone did that to my puzzle box. I made a road trip all the way to Hakone just to buy one and they're so cool. It's easy to open if you understand the mechanism. If you don't know, then you'll be spending an irritating 30 minutes on it (if your attention lasts that long).

Instead of "yada," I was originally going to use "no." However, I remember one time, senpai visited and I was scrolling through some AAA concerts for editing. There was one performance where Nishijima starts striping (anyone remember that one?). I was scrolling quickly and I didn't know senpai was watching, so I skipped it and senpai just screams "YADAAAAAAA!" I just said, there was nothing to see anyways... (no offense Nissy, I still love you!)

Sorry everyone,
I'm not up for finishing the last two Shinjiro pictures.
So TEIOH will be the last one. I am so going to fail my mid-term!
But I will say that Shin Week was a success!

Anyways, I will get back on track with the stories.
I'm going to be working on the next one tonight. It will be put up today or tomorrow based on how fast I work.

Then I need to go run-through some non-AAAttackers character designs with someone. I've created a new character and I need some opinions. The idea came to me in a dream (cheesy but true). I guess it's telling me to not give up so soon...

TEIOH was another great drama Shinjiro had starred in. Shinjiro's character gets into a lot of trouble went his girlfriend is snatched away by an arrogant host. So the main character (Tsukamoto Takashi) whom is his friend, seeks revenge, makes a bet with the host and joins the nightlife scene by becoming a host himself. Eventually, the main character chases the host out of town. In the ever so tough world of the Japanese nightlife, Shin and the main character struggle to run a host club together. After many disastrous moments, both of them end up running a cabaret club instead. After settling into what now seems like a stable situation, trouble arises again...

This made me laugh a little because I was discussing spiked hair with someone not too long ago. But umm... I also laughed because I had never drawn Shinjiro with spiked hair. It's the DBZ phase all over again. I'm kidding! Yeah, Shin's hair was very interesting during the "Breakdown" era. (I don't even recognize him in this picture)

I don't know about you guys, but when I was reading the "Shinrei Tantei Yakumo" series, it made me super paranoid! I was so afraid to go to sleep fearing nightmares. I would keep telling myself, "there's nothing under my bed, there's nothing under my bed, there's nothing under my bed, there's nothing under my bed!" This was kind of based off a true event. My roommate decided to play a horrible trick on me one time, after knowing that I read such a scary manga...

That manga would shake anyone up!
Especially gullible me.

But yeah, this is also a partial intro to the troublesome two, aka the "dumb and dumber brothers."

Okay... that was a really lame title.
One of Shinjiro's most memorable roles would probably be the uptight class president in "Delicious Gakuen."

DeliGaku is probably the first drama I've ever seen with Shin in it. At first, he came off as a jerk, but then further into the story, it shows that he had a good heart all along. It was just the best drama ever!!!

Don't forget, there's still more in store for Shin week!!!

Today... but October 3rd Japan time(yesterday). The anime version of "Shinrei Tantei Yakumo" (Psychic Detective Yakumo) was just released and is now airing on NHK. In the past, Shinjiro Atae starred as the main character of the live-action drama version. Although, he has nothing to do with the anime, I thought it would be cool to make an homage to the series featuring Shinjiro, since he's worked on it once before. I made some fanart!

I'm just so pumped up, I can't wait until people start subbing the anime. I've seen the drama and it was pretty good, but I wish it was less dialogue. Ahaha... don't get me started on the manga... mind blowing. Speaking of manga, the anime will be based off the "revised series," not the original storyline.

This is the big kick-off for SHINJIRO WEEK!!!

Anyways, I have this ongoing inside joke of Naoya being a confiscator of cakes, in other words, a cake monster (like the cookie monster). This was fun to make (except for the part where I did it in one sitting).

Can I die now? Seriously, this one took a lot of energy.

I felt really lazy with this one.

One post a week is my limit. I might die of exhaustion from drawing everyday.

Poor Shuta, no one wants to talk to him.
But he's a cool lone wolf. The hair revise was last minute, the perm stays!
He must find some relaxation in his headstands. I just get a headache from drawing him in that pose.

I forgot that I needed to leave the city for work.
I first thought, "oh no! What am I going to do? Batavia/Lake in the Hills has no scanners, how am I going to get my comics up?!" WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Then I arrived in Lake in the Hills last night. The workers for the restaurant stay here, in this house. I'm in the office room, where I hook up my laptop. I look under the table... and whadya know!!!!! There's a new unused scanner under the table. I totally forgot we had that. Duh! I was the one who picked it out.

Yay! I have a scanner, so no worries.
Although, because of my work schedule, I'll post it up really late.
Like, wayyyyyyyyy after midnight. Early warning.
